A brush pen character design drawing I did while on vacation in Vegas. I'm planning on doing some fantasy art pieces which have moonshine as the theme. ©2017 Fian Arroyo

Jumping in a little late for #Inktober2017 but here is my entry for the word for today which is "poison". Hope to keep up with the rest of the month.

Howard was just about ready to plan his attack on the village below, when he realized he had probably left the garage door open at home. ©2016 Fian Arroyo

A doodle in my sketchbook I did while at the beach on vacation. I added the watercolor washes when I got back in the studio. ©2016 Fian Arroyo

Bob knew there were perks to being a Troll but he just couldn't think of any at the moment. ©2016 Fian Arroyo

Inktober Drawing 1. Oink! Everyone loves bacon...right? Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo

One of my doodles I did in the car while my wife drove on our 2015 summer trip to Texas. I added the watercolor washes when we got back home. It's hard to paint with watercolors in a moving car...seriously!

My 3rd Inktober drawing I pumped out before going to bed last night. This is something I think I saw once when I lived in Panama growing up. I had fallen on my head after banana peeling off a skateboard. Was it real or was it the jog on the head...you make the call. Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo

Inktober drawing number 4 "Fearless" or "Danger Kitty". You make the call. Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo

Inktober Drawing 13. CrackleSaurus. Artwotk ©2015 Fian Arroyo

Inktober Drawing 9. Saw this little critter feeding her young while cutting and splitting logs on my property this weekend with my buddy Rob. Of course, I had to put it down on paper later. What kinda name would you give this species?

Inktober 10 Weenie Chupacabra Dog. Maybe this breed will one day be accepted into the american Kennel club?

Inktober ink drawing number 5. "Appalacian Gremlin". Walking in the woods of my back yard I see these guys in the corner of my eye scurrying from tree to tree looking for an opportunity to run off with something of mine. Sup wit dat? Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo

#Inktober ink drawing 6. The little things that go bump in the day. Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo

Inktober 14. Dragonfly. Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo.

While sitting at my daughter Devyn's award ceremony recently, I doodled this nervous dragon in my sketchbook while waiting for the event to start and during the slow parts...it was a long ceremony.

This is how I treat myself while working on my illustration deadlines here at Fian.com. A quick doodle in my sketchbook...then back to work. I use Faber Castell India Ink markers and a Moleskin Sketchbook...keepin' it real.
