Jumping in a little late for #Inktober2017 but here is my entry for the word for today which is "poison". Hope to keep up with the rest of the month.
Cedric knew organic was no glamour job...but it paid the bills.

Howard was just about ready to plan his attack on the village below, when he realized he had probably left the garage door open at home. ©2016 Fian Arroyo

Although Gary was bestowed the honor of recording his clans history, he could never quite remember where he put his reading glasses. ©2016 Fian Arroyo
Carl wondered if if posing while looking off to the side made him look regal enough for Instagram posts. ©2016 Fian Arroyo
Ted didn't realize how much of an ordeal it was to accidentally disturb the 10,000 year hibernation period of a mountain troll. ©2016 Fian Arroyo

Inktober Drawing 1. Oink! Everyone loves bacon...right? Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo
One of my doodles I did in the car while my wife drove on our 2015 summer trip to Texas. I added the watercolor washes when we got back home. It's hard to paint with watercolors in a moving car...seriously!
My second Inktober drawing. Sometimes if I wake up early enough I can see these little guys darting around in my back yard. Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo
My 3rd Inktober drawing I pumped out before going to bed last night. This is something I think I saw once when I lived in Panama growing up. I had fallen on my head after banana peeling off a skateboard. Was it real or was it the jog on the head...you make the call. Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo
Inktober drawing number 4 "Fearless" or "Danger Kitty". You make the call. Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo
Inktober Drawing 13. CrackleSaurus. Artwotk ©2015 Fian Arroyo
Inktober Drawing 9. Saw this little critter feeding her young while cutting and splitting logs on my property this weekend with my buddy Rob. Of course, I had to put it down on paper later. What kinda name would you give this species?
Inktober 10 Weenie Chupacabra Dog. Maybe this breed will one day be accepted into the american Kennel club?
Inktober ink drawing number 5. "Appalacian Gremlin". Walking in the woods of my back yard I see these guys in the corner of my eye scurrying from tree to tree looking for an opportunity to run off with something of mine. Sup wit dat? Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo
#Inktober ink drawing 6. The little things that go bump in the day. Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo
#Inktober drawing 7. The Blue Ridge Bearded Goblin. A pint sized little critter that is known for stealing only craft beers out of campers coolers. Last siting, 2012 Buncombe county, NC. Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo
#Inktober drawing 8. Drew up this and another little guy the other day when the power went out for about an hour. Couldn't work on the Mac so I jumped on the opportunity to get out the brush pen and paper. What would you name him? Artwork ©2015 Fian Arroyo
Inktober Drawing 11 Tusk. George hadn't been to the dentist in a looooong while, and he thought maybe he was due for an appointment.

each doodle in my sketchbook I did while at the beach on vacation with my family this past week, one of a few. I'm too restless to sit in a chair and bake...so I bake and draw...kill two birds with one stone. :-) I draw on a Moleskine sketchbook with either a Pilot Namiki Falcon fountain pen or Faber Castell Penn India ink markers or both. Sometimes I may even add a quick watercolor wash. Great to do while on vacation or even in between illustration deadlines...cheap therapy. ;-)
While sitting at my daughter Devyn's award ceremony recently, I doodled this nervous dragon in my sketchbook while waiting for the event to start and during the slow parts...it was a long ceremony.
Monster and Kitten doodle Ilustration in my sketchbook while watching TV with the fam. Just playing lines and values.
This is how I treat myself while working on my illustration deadlines here at Fian.com. A quick doodle in my sketchbook...then back to work. I use Faber Castell India Ink markers and a Moleskin Sketchbook...keepin' it real.
Tentacle Head Monster Doodle is another entry in My Sketchbook Adventures In Keeping It Real.
