“Hunting For Tomorrow's Ghosts” is a mix of watercolor and digital illustration. It was created for a collaboration between Green Man Brewing and Push Skate Shop and Art Gallery here in Asheville, NC and was printed on a skateboard deck and sold at both places.

This one was about Yankees pitcher Don Larson who during the 1956 World Series was not spoken to in fear of jinxing him. The silent treatment worked: Larsen pitched what is still the only perfect game in World Series history.

One of a series of illustrations done for Boy's Life magazine for an article on sports superstitions. This one was about how Babe Ruth made sure to step on second base every time he came in from right field. He also, refused to let teammates borrow bats because he believed each bat was good only for a certain number of hits. Turk Wendell brushed his teeth and chewed black licorice between innings.
This was the first version, for an assignment for Boy's Life magazine on sports superstitions, but the copy in the story changed and the final art became slightly different. I liked this version where Jim Palmer wore the same pair of socks through an entire season. I created 8 different illustrations for the article. Stay tuned to see the others.
