Starting the week off with a another Sunday night doodle while watching TV with the fam. Dragons...who doesn't love 'em? They are so fun to draw. I have a seemingly endless number of them in my head wanting to get out. Should I see a health care specialist for this? ;-)

Jabberwocky Illustration For ZaPow Gallery Theme Show
Finished illustration for the Wonderland theme show at the ZaPow Art Gallery in Asheville N.C. that opens next week. All pieces in the show are from the book Alice In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Each artist was assigned an excerpt from the book, mine was one with the Jabberwocky. There is just a short passage in the book with no description of the creature...plenty of room for me to run with it...just the way I like it!
Witches, Angels and Demons Illustration
Here is the final illustration for my entry in the ZaPow galleries "Art Of The Book" theme show. The book assigned to me was Good Omens; The Nice And Accurate Prophecies Of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. A super funny book about an angel and demon trying to prevent the apocalypse from happening based on the prophecies of a nutty witch. Super fun book and highly recommended read. The show will run from Feb. 8 thru April 8. If you are in the Asheville, NC area, drop by and check it out. Archival fine art prints for this are available here.

Magical New Packaging Illustration
I created this wizard character design a few years back along with three other characters for a series of new sugar-free, non GMO vitamin products called Dr. McComb's Magical Nutrients. It is finally coming to the market. The first of the four is the Magical Wizard's potion. I am super stoked about this and the things to come from it!
If you saw it on the shelves...would you buy it? Let me know what you think.
Fun Magazine Spread Illustration
Recently I created two spreads and a fun logo for AAA Traveler Magazine. This is the first of the two spreads and the logo. The assignment was to depict fun activities to do while on vacation in Florida. Some of the destinations mentioned in the article include Disney World, Universal Studios, Lego Land and beach activities. The Minion on the roller coaster still cracks me up! It was a fun project to work on because after having lived in Florida for many years, all those destinations mentioned were familiar to me. Makes me wanna go back and do the parks again and get in some beach time!
Thanx AAA for such a fun project!!!
