Fian Arroyo Princess Island cover illustration
Here's the children's book cover illustration for a series of illustrations I recently had the pleasure of doing for a book called "Princess Island". It's about a rough around the edges princess and her adventure at a summer camp specifically for princesses. I haven't received my copies of any books yet but was able to get a preview of the cover. It was a lot of work with over 30 interior illustrations but a super fun project. The publisher liked my pen and ink with watercolor style that I do digitally and I think it was a perfect match for this book.
Halloween 2015 At My House. Here is a viddy of me riding my Halloween ostrich trying to keep it under control right before the crowds started to really pour in. It was an awesome Halloween with close to 1000 sugar crazed zombies, ghosts and other pint sized fiends. It didn't rain like we feared so it rocked!!!
Inktober drawing 14...Halloween is almost here. EEEEEE!!!! :-)
Inktober drawing 14...Halloween Is Almost Here! EEEEE!!!! :-) We will feel the wrath of over 1000 sugar crazed zombies,goblins and other fiends on tomorrow night here Weaverville, NC. We set up a giant inflatable spider and an assortment of other scary related items throughout our front yard in anticipation of the coming assault. Stay tuned and I will post pics.

I received my complimentary copy of "Spectrum 22 The Best In Contemporary Fantastic Art" this weekend. I am humbled, honored and soooo grateful to be chosen to be among such great artists and illustrators. The book should be available to purchase in stores and online in November. It is such a beautiful book with art that will blow your mind...seriously!
