Spring is here! But it’s the most surreal one yet considering the current COVID19 situation. You can still get out of the social isolation and get outside and enjoy spring but at a safe distance from others. We will get over this and get back to the normalcy we are accustomed to but be a little more wise and aware. Be safe!

Do you ever wish you could be at two places at once? Yesterday I did. I have my art in two different group art shows in two different parts of the country and I wish I could’ve attended both openings.
The first is The Monster Project exhibit at the Doris Miller Auditorium in Austin,TX where 134 artists from around the world were given a drawing a child in Austin drew and the artists recreated their version of it. I can’t post the full reveal until after August 5th. I can’t wait to see what everyone else created!
The second is a group show with my amazing art collective Murmur Lodge at Harvest Records here in Asheville, NC titled “Experimental Forest”. Beer was provided by by the legendary Zebulon Ales who provided their Experimental Forest IPA from which the title of our show was inspired by.

Here's two of 8 illustrations I'm doing right now for Boys Life magazine for a 2 spread article on sports superstitions. One's about Jim Palmer for the Orioles who wore the same pair of lucky socks for an entire season. Got the Ok to post this because the copy changed for this one and I had to change it a bit so the final will be slightly different. The second is a work in progress of Babe Ruth of the Yankees and Turk Wendell of the Mets. This is a super fun project and I thankful to have the opportunity to work with such a great publication. I am excited to see how these will turn out when the magazine comes out in December. Stay tuned!!!
I started my weekend off on Friday with a double shot of good news. The first was I got accepted to sell my art at Gen Con in Indianapolis in August. Gen Con is one the largest conventions in the country for all things gaming and fantasy. The second shot was that "Gentle Whisper of an Ancient Voice" was accepted into the juried awards book for fantasy art called "Infected By Art" which will be available later this year. I am feeling very honored and blessed to have been chosen to be included among some great art and artists.
