Spring is here! But it’s the most surreal one yet considering the current COVID19 situation. You can still get out of the social isolation and get outside and enjoy spring but at a safe distance from others. We will get over this and get back to the normalcy we are accustomed to but be a little more wise and aware. Be safe!

Fall Of The Triumvirate
I recently finished "Fall Of The Triumvirate" just in time for my first show of the year which will be C2E2 in Chicago weekend after this one.
I posted previously on social media here. how I had to start over on this due to the paper tearing while removing masking fluid....ugh!!! Another bumpy ride coming to a happy ending. :-)

I recently created this watercolor and ink book cover illustration for the book The Stories Of Art Books One & Two. I really loved painting opaquely with the watercolors to create the fiery green smokey feel of the background. Of course drawing dragons is always a plus!!! Working with author Kelly Wolf was a great experience and I hope we can work together again in the future.
This month I received my copies of the premier awards books for fantasy art “Spectrum The Best In Contemporary Fantastic Art” and “Infected By Art” with my piece “Eye For An Eye” included in them. I am so grateful and humbled to be included with all the AMAZING artists in these books.
I started on this fantasy art journey 5 years ago to go alongside with my commercial illustration career, which I’ve had for many many years, to create art for myself and not for specific deadlines. Since then, my personal work has made its way into multiple galleries in 3 states, art shows and comic cons like Dragon Con and awards books like “Spectrum” and “Infected By Art” .
I feel so blessed and look forward to what the next 5 years has in store for me.
