Recently I created this catalog cover illustration for Kidstuff Marketing for a toy catalog that gets distributed to fast food restaurants. This assignment was so fun! Who doesn't love pirates? AAAAAARGH!!!! Shiver me timbers!!!! I just had to say that. :-)
This illustration was recently commissioned by Osiris, the skateboard shoe company, to be used at a trade show and to be part of a series of illustrations for a possible full deck of cards. I also created a pretty sexy looking Ace of Spades card which I will post soon. This piece was so fun to do because I totally got lost in the line work and was given total creative freedom by the creative director and co-owner of Osiris Tony Magnussen. Thanx Tony!!!!
I recently created an illustration for a fundraising event for Veteran Homestead, an organization that helps our military veterans. The image was used in invitations, email blasts and posters to get corporations to participate in a go-kart race to raise money for Veteran Homestead held at F1 Boston. Maria Jannace, art director for the event, informed me that the fundraiser was a huge success and that my artwork helped make it the best one in the history of the organization. It really touched me to know that my work will help to make a difference in other peoples lives. Win win!
Fantastic Franks Catalog Cover For Kid Stuff.
Recently I created a cover illustration for Kid stuff's fast-food restaurant toy catalog. It is always a treat to work on these catalog covers for them. This time my mission was to bring the Fantastic Franks toys to life. I think my mission was accomplished! What do you think?
Here's an illustration I recently created for the new Pentago game box cover. It's the Skateboard Madness version using the characters I developed for MindtwisterUSA for other games, geared for a younger audience. Even the title and logo are hand drawn to go with the feel of the art. It should be out later this year. Stay tuned!
