Recently I had the opportunity to create a fun back cover illustration for Clubhouse Magazine. The assignment called for a backyard scene with hidden objects throughout the composition. Can you find all 14 items? They are: swim goggles, bubbles with wand, golf putter, badminton, shuttlecock, sprinkler, paintbrush, Popsicle, pail and shovel, open book, roller skate/rollerblade, magnifying glass, jump rope and paper airplane.

"Ol' Cleetus didn't like fairies much...especially ones that nagged him about his drinking." I did a brush pen drawing of Cleetus recently and thought I had to bring him to life in living color.

This fun illustration was created for Kids Stuff Marketing for a toy catalog that goes out to the restaurant industry. It's always fun and challenging to come up with an image for these covers because of the vertical format. I have to make all the elements work in the composition without making it look like anything is being compromised due to the format limitations. I love drawing exaggerated expressions on kids having fun and making that energy come alive....super fun!
