Kid Stuff Spring Catalog Cover
Check out this humorous illustration created once again for the awesome folks at Kid Stuff for their spring 2014 catalog cover. I always look forward to working with them because I know we will be creating some fun stuff! Its always somewhat of a challenge getting in all the necessary pieces of the illustration to fit into such a vertical format, but the challenge is part of the fun.
Here is the final sketch along with the cover for the catalog with the final art. Thanx again Kid Stuff for the opportunity to draw something fun!

Blues Hound Email Campaign
Check out this email promotional campaign I am did through Agency Access for November of 2013. It is the second installment in a series I have in capturing the challenges art buyers face in a humorous way. I decided to use a fun B/W doodle illustration style for the main image with an arrow that lets you see the full color version of the art when you click on it.
I wanted to do something more than just show an existing illustration to attract work, I wanted to create something that is designed for this particular campaign and have art buyers relate to it.
I have included the ad in its entirety which includes the copy I had written for it.

Children's Vitamin Packaging Illustration
Awhile back I was commissioned to create some fantasy characters for a line of sugar-free vitamins for kids called Dr. McCombs Magical Nutrients. I created a wizard, a knight, a dragon and an elf prince and princess, each for a specific flavor. The vitamins come in a powder form where they can be mixed with water or eaten like Pixie sticks. I recently received samples to try out and I was totally impressed by how great they tasted. They should go into production in a few weeks. I can't wait to see them on store shelves. Its such a great product I know they will be flying off the shelves.
Here is the artwork on the packaging design for one of the flavors, Magical Wizard's Potion.
Lemme know what ya think. Thanx!
