The November issue of the art magazine Asheville Made has an article about me and my art work in the November issue. They did a great job with the interview, showing my art and the photographer Audrey Goforth did an awesome job with the portrait. Audrey even got my rattler Larry in the pic. :-)
The article focuses more on my watercolor and ink work I do for galleries and mentions my illustration career.

Fian Arroyo decompressing between illustration projects.
I just completed illustrations for a kids book called "Princess Island". This is the pic of me that will be used on my bio page. It's what I do to decompress between illustration projects. I thought that it was pretty awesome that the publisher chose this shot instead of the typical headshot. I'm stoked!
I did do the art that is on the board in the pic a few years back. Nothing like riding something with your own art on it...right? :-)
Two days ago I posted on my personal Facebook page and Facebook illustration page and got a great response regarding which version of The Blue Ridge Mountain Troll I should chose to hang in the "Spooky" themed show at the ZaPow gallery in Asheville N.C. which starts this weekend. I needed to know that afternoon to let the printer know and almost immediately comments were flooding in.
