Business illustration showing teamwork

This is an illustration pulled from the archives of Fian Arroyo Illustration I did years ago for a business magazine for Thomson Financial depicting teamwork. I believe it was an article on companies building teamwork skills kind of like the thing my buddy Tom's site does.

I wanted to show how teamwork in a corporate environment could keep the company moving forward in a collective effort towards a common goal.

More children's book illustrations for "Best In Show".

I have been such a bad blogger that I just wanna slap myself. Summer is tough, working on my deadlines, dealing with kids out of school and the occasional quick 4 day vacation peppered throughout the summer. So keeping up on a regular basis is a toughy at times...thats my excuse for now...gotta think of other ones for the rest of the year :-) I still want (and will) post videos of my working process just gotta get around to it.

But here are a few more final art pieces for the book I completed 2 weeks ago for Red Chair Press. The folks there at Red Chair are so easy to work with and really let me have alot of creative freedom with this book....wish it was always that easy! Since the loss of my own dog a year ago, this project has made me think about getting another dog. I had the worlds greatest and smartest dog, an Australian cattle dog named Sydney...its going to be tough replacing her.

There are more so let me know if ya wanna see them. Let me know which ones you think I should post to my portfolio page on the site.

A few final art pieces for "Best In Show" book

Here are few of the completed pieces for the book "Best In Show" I uploaded not too long ago a few pencil sketches for this project and one of the 3 finished pieces posted today represent one of the earlier posted sketches. These are all done in Adobe Photoshop using my Intuos Wacom tablet. This project has been a blast because dogs are just so fun to draw. Its been a little nutty with work and having the kiddos out for summer...but its a fun nutty though!  I gotta keep plowin' to get all 16 pages done.

One of the pieces is a preliminary design for the cover sent to me by the publisher...looks cool! Can't wait to see the finished product in print. Drop me a line lemme know what ya think. Thanx!
