Fian makes a classroom visit

I made a visit yesterday to my daughters 5th grade class where I showed them samples of my work by bringing in my portfolio, skateboards, games, books and magazines featuring my art. Then I read Eville,USA to them on my ipad and then with their help drew a huge monster on their whiteboard. Funny how at even a young age...anyone can be an art director. :-) I've presented my work and talked about my career in the past to high schools, universities and elementary schools, but elementary schools have always been the most fun. The kids really get into my art and reading to them is always a blast. The big hit with them is having them art direct a monster I draw for them on the whiteboard...super fun!

Dragon art progression by Fian Arroyo

Check out the creative progression, from rough sketch to final art, of this dragon I created for a client recently. Art is to be produced on stickers, big wall stickers, magnets etc. One of a series of illustrations of dragons, monster skateboarders and football players. It was a blast going back to my fantasy art roots. Click on the thumbnail and check it out.

Fian.com bus wrap art for Bloomsburg University

I did bus wrap art for Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania a month ago and I just received a preliminary photo of how the bus will look. Worked with Eric Jacobs at White Space Creative on this project. He totally rocks and is great to work with! I have also included how the art looks that I sent them. If anyone out in Pennsylvania sees that puppy rollin' around lemme know.
